100 Painted Skulls: #10

To celebrate year 5 of Skull-A-Day I've decided to paint 100 skulls on 4 x 4in (10.16 x 10.16 cm) wooden panels over the course of the year...

Since I said I needed more practice painting teeth, I decided to make them the the focus of this one. I put down the lightest color first and then added the rest of the colors in darker and darker layers. First in the series without visible eye sockets!

Looks like the skull is in the midst of a fire. Nice!

Pretty creepy. Well done.

Will you be selling theses, when the project is complete?

Haven't had my coffee yet..."Will you be selling these (not theses)...?"

Yes, they will be for sale. The first 20 or so will be sold through Asbury Lanes at an exhibition that opens on June 25th, so you can definitely contact them if there are any you are specifically interested in. The rest will probably be sold through the site, I'll post details about that as soon as I've worked out the specifics.
